SOME FALL FAVORITES

Hello cooler mornings and ok still 85 degree days. Like it or not autumn is blowing in and I could not be more excited about it. With fall comes some of the most fabulous smells, tastes, experiences... It's also my very favorite fashion season. Bring on the layers! Here are a few of my favorite ways to bring in the season of crunchy leaves, scarves, boots, and all things PUMPKIN...

You have to make this

pumpkin bread

. This makes a great gifts for friends and neighbors, too! We made it dozens of times when I was pregnant with Phoebe. Bonus: it's gluten-free (you would never know)!

Speaking of

recipes

... we will probably make this

chili

once a week. It is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I like jalapeno but it's totally optional. I eat mine with greek yogurt, cheddar cheese and plenty of rooster sauce.

If I really want to win Sam over, this

carrot ginger soup

is his very favorite. It's creamy and full of delicious vegetables. Goes great with a rosemary bread grilled cheese.

This

spaghetti squash and meatballs

recipe is a new favorite. We made it a ton last year. Great comfort food without any of the aftermath.

If you want to bring the smell of autumn indoors, try making this apple and cinnamon infused

potpourri

. Smells up your entire house in the very best of ways! Might make some this week.

What are some of your favorite fall traditions?

We love to go to the pumpkin patch in North Georgia and I think we'll try to do some apple picking this year.

State fair

? It's on the list!
