Mood Boards for our Home

A few days ago I set down and finally put together all of the moodboards for the house *subject to change paint colors ha! It helps me so much to have a visual when I’m working on a space. I’ll try and share as many sources as possible. XO

The boot room aka mudroom that will be our primary entrance. We are adding lockers, a place for Chief’s food and water as well as a pantry.

The sleeping porch is our main/guest entry where we wanted to create more sleeping space as well as year round usable space. We added hvac and had to pivot on the flooring from the tile which ended up being too thick to hardwoods that we will paint. The tile is being repurposed for the mudroom. We are also using vintage school lights in this space that we were able to use once we raised the porch ceiling.

The living room will get lots of cream paint on the ceiling and trim to balance out the busyness of the wallpaper. I can’t wait to see this space come together.

My favorite room! We are still deciding about what to do about the ceiling… to vault or not.

Tile is going in this week and I absolutely cannot wait. I went with a lot of fun accessories and details in this space because it’s a smaller bath and will also serve as our guest bath,

Matilda loves blue so I went with this whimsical daisy print from William Morris. I focused on blue for sky, green for land, yellow for sun to bring the elements of the farm indoors as well.

Phoebe shocked me when she said she wanted a yellow room but it’s so perfect for her sunshiney personality and I went with another classic print from William Morris, the fruit pattern.

Wanted this space to be very utilitarian and to serve as a workhorse for the family. We want a large sink here to deal with the inevitable mud that will get tracked in and the rolling baskets will be used for the girls to bring in their laundry.

This bedroom shown above has been one of my favorite rooms ever. Never did I think we would have a room like this and I’m so excited for the vaulted ceiling and fireplace.

Our bathroom was inspired by a hotel we stayed at for our anniversary. Really wanted it to feel cozy and warm and collected.
