In the Garden
This past weekend we celebrated my birthday on saturday (thank you for the sweet comments and messages - I felt so loved!). I had brunch with my dear Joni at my favorite french restaurant and for dinner Sam took me to The Butcher The Baker (they were so good to us!). On sunday my sweet family came over and my mama made gluten-free lasagna and a flourless chocolate cake which could probably be illegal it was so good. I got the sweetest gifts from my family and just felt really lucky. During the days we played in the dirt a little and the weather was warm and I wore flip flops and I got so excited about our garden.
- Garden Anywhere - my go-to gardening book!
- Floral kids gardening gloves - Matilda has these :) (here's a fun option for the boys!)
- The Edible Garden - on the wishlist! Can't wait to grow herbs and vegetables.
- Haws Metal Watering Can - My mom gave me a Haws watering can and I adore it.
- Crocs Rainfloe Boots - I ended up ordering these today after reading some not-so-great reviews on Hunter boots (thanks for the feedback on facebook, friends!).
- Colored Garden Twine - punch up your garden with some pretty garden twine.
- Handmade Jute Bundle Holder - this is divine!

Picked up a couple of snake plants (or "mother-in-law tongue!") at Home Depot over the weekend. It's one of my plant go-tos because they are really hard to kill. We worked hard all weekend on the Home Depot Patio Style Challenge (for the "behind the scenes" you can follow along on instagram). I feel really excited about the challenge because everything is coming together and I feel like we finally have a plan. Three more weekends to get it all done. Fingers crossed the weather cooperates. It has been so cold + wet for Georgia. Bring on the sunshine!
PS My girl crush Alys Fowler (she penned those books above) also has a video series that you can check out here.
