Project Kid + seed factory

This weekend Matilda and I had a girl date. We took the scenic route to the Westside (apparently there was a high speed chase after a bank robbery and all the lanes were closed on 75S - what?!) for a crafternoon at our favorite children's store: seed factory. We had lunch first at Yeah! Burger - best sweet potato fries eva and I always get "Turkey burger, no bun, blue cheese, grilled onions" in case you wanted to know. After that we scooted over to seed factory for the Project Kid book signing and making of these adorable flowers.

The lovely Amanda Kingloff showed kids how to create flowers from cupcake liners, straws, washi tape and a little glue. Just one of many of the creative and adorable crafts in her book. The photography is gorgeous and we took home a signed copy of course.

Matilda also posed for a little seed factory instagram action. We love Rachel and all of the staff at seed factory. They are the coolest. If you want to check out their crafternoons, they are hosting another one this saturday with author Justine Rubin for Eclectica Kiddo.

Sam and Phoebe had a little date of their own. Love this photo of them!
