In the Garden: Propagating Rosemary

I'm in the process of propagating rosemary for the first time. I started the process on Memorial day and three weeks later saw roots. It was so exciting. I am about to order our galvanized round end tank for the vegetable + herb garden and want to create a rosemary hedge around it (like this one!).

Propagating rosemary is really simple and totally free! Take a sprig of healthy rosemary and remove the bottom third of the leaves and place it in a small jar of water. Make sure the top of the rosemary is not submerged. Change out the water to keep it fresh. Move them to 3" pots once you see several roots and then plant once it matures a bit.

I can't wait to start on my hedge. I am so excited about it! Hope you had a great weekend! We had two shoots which I'm looking forward to sharing soon.
