Girls Night Idea: Favorite Things Party

Last night I checked a "girls night" off my summer bucket list. My friend Dorie invited me and a few friends over to her lovely home for a night of wine, girl talk, and sharing. I had the best time!

Here's the idea:

You bring five of the same "favorite things." Each item has to be under $6 and the total less than $30. Everyone then explains why they chose them and you end up going home with five different favorite things. So fun! I brought these.

Other favorites included: two buck chuck, these face wipes, this lip butter and the prettiest day lily.

Other things I would have brought:

• Method hand soap (my fave!)
• a succulent
• makeup brushes
• a fun magazine
• pretty wrapping paper
• gift card to coffee shop

The list could go on and on. I'd love to hear what you would bring! Have you been to a party like this? Dorie also had ice breakers: "What's your favorite date night?" "What's your favorite thing to do in your 'free time'?" "Favorite flower?" It was a fun way to get to know some of the other girls better.
