Mornings with Bee

"This! This!" Phoebe was so excited when she ran into this little guy yesterday. I wanted to take her somewhere where she could feel free and I also wanted to pick up some flowers for the shower I'm hosting this weekend. This is one of my favorite places ever, the nursery. I just feel the happiest here. I also love the excitement that comes with each season, strolling the aisles for fresh lettuces and the prettiest mums.

I had one of those magical motherhood days yesterday. Truly magical. Days don't come often enough where I am completely aware in the moment for what a gift it is to be present and in awe of the beauty of motherhood. It was of those days where I felt like hard conversations were bringing great fruit, the meltdowns were few and far between, to be able to watch Phoebe explore the water fountains and let her tiny white hairs blow in the oversized greenhouse fan, a day to listen to my Matilda read "Green Eggs and Ham" in its entirety with very little help. A day where their little faces felt that much more precious in my hands, where I couldn't kiss them enough or hold them tight enough. It was a really sweet day. I thank God for those moments over and over because I'm so grateful that He is allowing me, imperfect me, to shepard these darling spirits. My heart is truly full.
If you're free tonight or tomorrow night I'm going to be hosting a little class with my friend Ashley. Details here!
