Our Master Bathroom
I shared on instagram last week that my friend Morgan came over to help me organize our master bathroom but before I share all of the nitty gritty of how we made this room function so.much.better, I thought it would be fun for the master bath to have it’s very own post. When we were designing this space my Mom (who is a design genius) suggested we move the double vanity from the long right side of the bathroom to where when you walked it you looked straight at the sinks vs the side of a vanity. I’m SO glad we did this. There was a moment of total panic in the middle but it was hands down the right decision.
I wanted to add a little bit of edge and the price point on this hardware was perfect. We paired it with my old faithful brass knobs.
These faucets are the perfect blend of modern and traditional. Super happy with them and love the added chrome on the vanity to tie in with the other bath fixtures.
The bathroom is L-shaped to accommodate a tub and a shower. A good soaking tub is a must for both of us but we love having the option of a shower as well. I honestly cannot remember exactly which tub we got, but this one is very similar.
We went with the carrara marble floor with a handmade looking porcelain tile (super important to note the lot #s as the tile colors do vary - ask me how I know. haha).
I found these cool wooden hooks on super sale at Anthro and added these pink towels to give it a touch of femininity mixed with the grey. Funny story, Sam is color blind and had no idea these were pink until his co-worker gave him a hard time! Ha! Stay tuned for the organization post, coming soon!
