White's Room and Board - Fox Country Farmhouse

In 2017 we started a tradition as a family of getting away and unplugging after Christmas. It’s hands down my favorite few days of the year. We go somewhere new, we set goals as a family, we play games, we play outside, and it’s just a beautiful time to set our hearts on each other and the coming year.

This year we booked a few days at the Fox Country Farmhouse, one of the beautiful houses lovingly restored by Holly Williams of White’s Room and Board and White’s Mercantile. About an hour outside of Nashville, Cornersville, TN is the sleepiest little town (exactly what we wanted!) and the house butts up to farm land where we saw cows and other animals and the sweetest creek and lots of beautiful countryside.

We bring games (although the last two houses we’ve booked had plenty on hand as well!), our Passion Planners for dreaming, books, food and drinks, and not much else!

I write down everyone’s goals and dreams for the year in my planner and it’s so fun to reflect the next year on all that God has done and all that has happened.

Not one detail was left out of this special place. We loved seeing all of the beautiful touches and family heirlooms sprinkled throughout. Truly such a treasure!!!
