The Girl's Bathroom Inspiration
At the end of last week demo started again (yay!), this time on the back of the house to make way for the addition. We don’t know when the addition will happen (prayers) but the kitchen is slated to be installed in December. We are still waiting on our appliances and a lot of our fixtures and things so while we wait I’m really trying to be thoughtful of our choices. Originally we were going to go green in the kitchen, and while I do think that’s a very classic choice, I just couldn’t commit to something that’s currently on trend SO bringing that love of green into the girl’s bathroom.
This bathroom will serve as a shared bathroom for the girls and also the guest bathroom so we really wanted it to feel special. I worked with my friend Maggie to put together a “English Country Hunting House” style bathroom and I can’t wait to see it all come together!!
Here’s a before photo of the bathroom and then the details of our design below!
We have now completely gutted this bathroom. We will repurpose this vanity and that’s about it! Here’s an inspiration photo below that I LOVE that really accentuates the arch.
I loved this bathroom and wanted to create a similar look in here with the arch. We ordered this subway tile to use on the tub surround. We will also add bead board that will go to the chair rail that’s here and paint that Tate Olive by Benjamin Moore.
