It's two am and I'm awake. I am so not a night owl, in fact I relish going to bed at 9:30 so this is quite the change for me. Seriously. I have a crazy case of heart burn/ reflux that's keeping me awake. Hoping this means the baby has lots of hair. This week's getting ready for baby task is to research vaccines and find a pediatrician. Luckily I have the pediatrician all lined up and I love my doctor. I think it's really important to find someone that you connect with and I feel like my doctor is my friend. I would actually like to hang out with her, know what I mean? Although she fully supports vaccinations she has never once pressured me to do them. Matilda has had her shots very spread out and I typically get the ones that she assures me are most important. Here's a schedule for vaccines that the cdc recommends. I realize that this is a hot topic but I'm really curious about how you handle vaccines and what kind of schedule you go by (or do you not do them at all?). I'd really appreciate your feedback. ps Thank you to everyone for the sweet birthday wishes for Matilda. It always warms my heart when people share in our love for that sweet girl. I felt like it was my birthday. :) pps I've been dealing with some pretty intense feelings lately and would appreciate any prayers. Thanks so, so much. photo by the brilliant jessica mahadytwitter/ facebook/ pinterest/ instagram
