FRIDAY FAVORITES / WEEK 05
I seriously don't even know what happened to this week. I blinked and it was Friday. Cheers to the weekend! I've had a pretty awesome few days. We hosted our small group friends at our house on Monday (love them!), got to finally share our kitchen with you guys (thank you so much for your incredibly sweet comments - made all of that hard work worth it!), had coffee with two ladies I really admire (Anna + Whitney), got to cook and shoot with my dear friend Meghan (did you see the Pumpkin Pie Bites?!), and I have the fun opportunity to give away an Origami stroller (have you entered yet?). Sometimes I don't want to share when I feel really happy because I feel guilty (what is that about?) but honestly I am just so thankful. Thank you for being a part of this blog, it wouldn't be any fun without you. Also, I just really love October.
Here are some of my favorite people to follow on instagram (see more here | find my feed here):
@jenloveskev - I feel lucky to count Jen as a friend. She's a genuinely lovely person and I have no doubt we'd hang out if she lived closer. Isn't her living room gorgeous?! Also love seeing her adorable girls. Her entire family is always stylin'. / @stephanielabenne - I can't remember how I found Stephanie but aren't her pictures just stunning?! I always feel touched by their beauty. Love. / @danielleburkleo - I was telling a friend of mine the other day that it's always so nice to discover someone that is open about their faith and universally inspiring. Danielle is a mama of four (!) and makes it look effortless. God shines through her. / @linzyszechenyi - Lindsay and I have been online friends for years now (we've even upgraded our friendship to texting from time to time). Lindsay takes such pretty pictures of her gorgeous home and family (love her girls!) and she is often whipping up some gorgeous sewn or knitted creation.
Here are some images/ideas I pinned over the week:
This kitchen with exposed brick and pretty pastels spotted on Decor8... YES. / How charming is this Twinkle, Twinkle party by 6th Street Design School for baby Jane's first birthday party? Love everything about it! / New wallpaper line for kids by Jill Malek and SISSY + MARLEY. These stars would look so good in Phoebe's room... / I spotted this gorgeous living room shot by Prue Roscoe and the painted black alcove inspired us to paint the wall behind our tv black. It was a light bulb moment! You can see the shelves here.
Have a great weekend!
