NOONDAY COLLECTION

A few weeks ago I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a post from my adorable friend Stephanie about a new company she was working with... Noonday Collection. I looked them up and was so inspired and really wanted to get involved with helping spread the word about their beautiful line that is enriching lives all over the world. Stephanie came over on friday and we had a blast going through all of her gorgeous samples (like this vibrant stiches bag above). Here's a little bit more about Noonday from Stephanie:

Noonday Collection is a beautiful company that uses fashion and design to help families and individuals out of poverty. It all began as an adoption fundraiser! Noonday's founder, Jessica Honegger, adopted her son, Jack, from Rwanda just a couple of years ago, shortly after Noonday Collection launched. Since then, Noonday has been advocating for orphans and vulnerable people groups by creating long-term relationships with talented artisans in under privileged areas. Noonday purchases expertly crafted jewelry and accessories from their artisans for 2-4 times what they would make selling their goods in their local community. Then, Noonday's Ambassadors create a marketplace for the items to be sold here in the states. The main vehicle for selling the gorgeous handmade items is through trunk shows, which are super fun events hosted in the comfort of someone's home, and consist of shopping, styling, and storytelling (if you are an Atlanta-area local and interested in hosting a trunk show please feel free to email me for more info!). Noonday Collection's Ambassadors are advocates before they are salespeople. Our heart is to tell stories of hope, sustainability, and life change made possible through partnering with Noonday Collection. We want Noonday's customers to see and hear first hand how every single purchase is truly making a difference in not only the life of the artisan who created the piece, but also in their community, country, and the world.
I fell in love with Noonday as soon as I heard about their mission and saw where the name "Noonday" came from, in Isaiah 58:10... "When you satisfy the needs of the oppressed, your night will become like the noonday." I want my life to matter! I am only one tiny human in a big big world. But I truly believe that I can create a few ripples that can help lead to eradicating poverty and bringing justice to oppressed people by saying YES to every opportunity to advocate. If you are interested in becoming an ambassador or learning more... please don't hesitate to reach out. - Stephanie Kuhn

We are partnering up to bring one lucky winner a $75 credit to this gorgeous line. Wouldn't these stunning carved bone earrings make an amazing Christmas gift for your best friend, mom, sister?

These waterdrop prism earrings are made with love (and by hand!) in India. Would be totally gorgeous for holiday parties or to wear to the grocery store. I vote for fancy always!

I was thought it was so cool when Stephanie shared with me that this La Jolla necklace was made out of different kinds of seeds, some of which take months to dry out before they can be carved. Made in Ecuador.

Totally fascinated and amazed by the artillery collection featuring the Bethe Rope Necklace (shown above with the beautiful Minted Necklace which is made from paper in Uganda) and this killer Modern Angles necklace that I'm wearing.  If I had to pick favorites these would be them. The necklaces are made out of upcycled artillery found in Ethiopa. Stephanie put it best... beauty from the ashes. They are a beautiful combination of gold and silver.

The La Noche Bracelet is sure to be a night-out staple. So glitzy. This is one of Stephanie's favorite pieces. It feels really amazing on, made of glass beads in Guatamala!

Chasing Triangles Cuff (as seen on Stephanie) has the softest suede backing and every bead is hand sewn. It was another favorite of mine. The geometric pattern is very cool and would instantly add a "who's that lady?" vibe to any outfit.

The Banded Brass Cuff is fully adjustable and would be so awesome over long sleeve tops. I always think that girls that wear cuffs are instantly cool. Ammi right?

Tagua Seed Bracelet in seagreen. The Tagua seed is frequently referred to as "vegetable ivory." The seed is carved down and smoothed to look like bone. The seeds give the artisans an ethical alternative.

I love the look of layered and stacked bracelets. Shown above: Funky Paper Bead bracelet / Tassled Bullet Bracelet in mustard / Pelotas Bracelet in tangerine. Hard to narrow it down!

Finally... I love this Brightly Wound bracelet in mustard. Such a cool look and just for fun you can catch a fun peek at the "behind the scenes" of their fall/winter catalog:
