2013!

As I gear up to celebrate Christmas and New Year's with my family, I am thinking back over this year. Phew! This year was all about the renovation and getting in our new home. We made some amazing new friends and even joined a small group. Both have been a big burst of light in our life. We got to know Phoebe and celebrated her birthday. Matilda is a little lady and has just grown in leaps and bounds! We have some big thoughts as a family on what we want the next year to look like. We've had a good dose of perspective over the last month that has shifted our focus a bit.  Here are a few of my favorite posts from the year if you have any downtime over the next week or so to read over them. I'll be quiet on the internet front, but you will no doubt see a few festive photos pop up on my instagram. Sending all of my love your way over the holiday season. Thank you so much for reading, it makes writing so rewarding! XOXO Merry Christmas!

Having our kitchen featured on HGTV Remodels was a huge highlight of the year. Made hours sourcing and sweating worthwhile.

We got Phoebe on a schedule and sleeping through the night and turned back into humans. :)

I started collaborating on my blog for the first time this year. Loved working with my talented friend Meghan Splawn on a Whole30 series as well as some amazing fall recipes like these pumpkin bites. Yum!

I loved working on these Mother's Day corsages with my brilliant flower friend Megan of Victory Blooms.

I've gotten to be really great friends with Joni of Lay Baby Lay this year and adore her and her family. It was so fun teaming up to do an Advent project together this year.

I thought a lot about my girls and raising daughters. These are some things that I want to teach them.

We took a trip to the Cagles Family Farm with our friends and had a blast.

Phoebe got a lot busier so Sam built a really pretty stair gate...

This year was all about exposing little Bee to new things, like food! Here are some of her favorite things to eat.

Wrapping up the year, is our home for the holidays. See you in 2014! Cheers!
